Joel's IGKT Lanyard

The International Guild of Knot Tyers' Lanyard

I found this project sheet on the International Guild ofKnot Tyers website here: http://www.surreyknots.org.uk/82-simple-lanyard.htm. 

They call it “A Simple Lanyard” and was illustrated Eric Franklyn. The design looked interesting as an introduction to more elaborate projects. I used black 550. I had some difficulty following the directions for the first knot so I used a Lanyard Knot instead.  The directions for Ocean Plait were easy to follow with nice results. I used 95 cord to seize the Carrick Bend for a finish.

This was a fun project of medium difficulty.
