Buzzing Holgate Craft

Handeez Bugs - Do It Yourself project by Tiffany Dias | Pepperell Braiding Company
Make your own Handeez! Bugs by Tiffany Dias.

Tiffany may have just out-cuted herself. (See her Fox Mask Project to see what we mean.) She's now made hand painted Handeez Bugs!

Made from the unfinished Handeez car shape, she primed, painted, and decorated these two cuties.

Tiffany painted the spots and stripes freehand on each of the critters. Goes to show you the Handeez are not limited to cars and trucks. Make a little bug or design your own one of a kind Handeez vehicle. Pick a specific theme or just give it a splash of your own personality. This is a wonderful DIY wood craft for both kids and adults. Use your own paint and embellishments to decorate. Design for yourself, give as handmade gifts or invite some friends over for a DIY craft party.

Owl Be Your Step Stool!

Owl Step Stool by Tiffany Dias - Pepperell Braiding Company
DIY painted step stool.

For years we've silk screened images onto wooden toys. We customize your child's name onto the toys to personalize them a bit. Now it's your turn... or rather your child'd turn, to customize their heirloom toys! It's easy.

Materials:
- Wood primer
- Paint brushes
- Craft Paint
- Clear coat finisher (recommended for durability)
- Either a template or child's imagination!

Directions are straight forward enough: Prime all wooden surfaces you'd like to paint. Once the primer dries, paint your design onto the surface. Once the paint dries, seal the surface of the artwork with a clear-coat to protect your child's artwork.

We are now offering the unfinished wooden stools at Holgate Toy.com. Please feel free to share with us your finished step stools. We'd love to help you show off your your little artist!
